It serves as a central point of contact for residents regarding civic matters and local administration.

History & Culture
Henbadhoo has a rich history dating back centuries. Archaeological evidence suggests human settlement on the island for over 800 years, with our ancestors being skilled navigators and fishermen who traveled the Indian Ocean.
Our culture is deeply rooted in Islamic traditions, which have shaped our way of life since the 12th century. We celebrate various religious festivals and maintain strong family bonds that are central to Maldivian society.
Traditional arts and crafts, including mat weaving, lacquer work, and boat building, continue to be practiced and passed down through generations, preserving our cultural heritage for the future.
